Bird Photo Contest: Win Vanguard Endeavor ED’s

If like me, you enjoy taking photos of birds as well as looking at them through your binoculars, then here is your chance to get a little recognition for all your “hard” work, as well as getting the chance win a pair of top of the range Vanguard Binoculars.

The Bird Photo Competition

WeLoveBirds.org is currently running a Bird Photo Contest, giving you the chance to win a fantastic pair of Vanguard birding binoculars.

To participate in the WeLoveBirds.org photo contest, all you have to do is submit ONE bird photo. They will be accepting photos up until April 29 2011.

Winners are picked by votes from the community and will take place from May 3 to May 7. Winners will be announced on May 9. The contest is open to members of WeLoveBirds. If you are not yet a member, they invite you to become one. It’s free and easy.

The First Prize

When I reviewed the Vanguard Endeavor 8.5 x 45 binoculars, I was so impressed with them, that they eventually went on to win the Best Binocular Reviews award of the Best Value For Money Binocular for 2010 Vanguard Endeavor 8.5 x 45 binoculars.

So whilst I think they make incredible value for money, you have a chance to get them for absolutely no money at all as they are the first prize in this competition and they make ideal birding binoculars.

Features Include

  • Extra low-dispersion, ED glass
  • 100% Waterproof and fogproof
  • BaK4 roof prisms
  • Fully multi-coated lenses
  • Long Eye Relief – 20mm

… now all I need to do is decide which photo I should enter into the competition…. Wonder if I should use the photo of the Wire-tailed Swallows above, that I took whilst on holiday on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe a few years ago?
