Nikon announces Sports Optics line in India

New Delhi, August 2012: Nikon India, a subsidiary of the Nikon Corporation has announced the launch of its Nikon Sport Optics range of Binoculars, Fieldscopes, Laser Rangefinders in India.

Their entire optics range is going to be available across India during August 2012. Mr. Hiroshi Takashina, Managing Director, Nikon India said “Nikon’s sports optic range has stood for exceptional performance for consumers across the world. We would like Indian customers to experience the superior technology of the Nikon Sport Optics range which comprises instruments of observation and photography that are ideal for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts.”

Flagship Nikon Sport Optics products include the EDG series of Binoculars and Fieldscopes. The EDG Binoculars have Nikon’s many leading-edge lens technologies including ED glass, dielectric high-reflective multilayer prism coating and advanced multilayer coating which delivers a spectacular field of view.

Nikon has also incorporated the lens-shift type VR (Vibration Reduction) system into some of the EDG series Fieldsecopes for the first time in the world giving exquisite, clear viewing to the very edge of your field of view. Other aspects, such as exacting lens and prism construction ensures sharper, brighter images to intensify the consumers viewing experience.
