The Viper range from Vortex were designed to easily handle tough environments as they are both rugged and solidly built, with a serious amount of rubber armoring that will stand up to hard use.
As well as tough they are both fog and waterproof, and use many quality optical elements like extra low-dispersion glass (“XD glass”) and their own high-quality coatings (“XR multi-layer coatings” to produce a binocular that is very bright, with excellent resolution, fine detailing, and true color.
