More than 4 Million Views on the BBR YouTube Channel!

Over the weekend, I was thrilled to discover what I feel is something of a milestone for the Best Binoculars Reviews community – The BBR YouTube channel has now surpassed an incredible 4 million views!

From binocular reviews to in-depth comparisons and hints and handy tutorials, the BBR YouTube channel has grown from something that I thought would never take off and somewhat reluctantly thought I had to do (I was too shy to speak on the first videos I made!), to what I now feel is an important part of BBR.

Below are some of the more interesting or popular videos from the channel that spring to mind.

Most Work & Best Production … so Far!

I have chosen to first highlight the video (see below) where I go over the differences between binoculars and monoculars as this is probably the one I am most proud of to date. I spent a lot of time making it (about a week). First in research, then filming the b-roll, then all the actual footage of me talking and then finally with the editing and uploading.

Before making the video, I knew what I wanted to say, but I did not write a script. I do think that it comes across as more natural. However, this does take the process much longer to do as it meant a lot of re-takes.

The First Video from 2013

I will be the first to admit that even with the video that I am currently most proud of, there is room for me to make a lot of improvement and I am learning all the time.

But to see how far I have come, I thought it would be fun (and very cringy) for me to also share the very first video I published on the BBR YouTube Channel!

Swarovski 8x25 CL Pocket Binoculars – Winner Best Compact Binocular 2013

Published way back in November 2013, it currently has 15,300 views and with a total of $32.09, it has made me a fortune in advertising revenue – Not!!!
